Optical bare fiber is most commonly made of silica and consists of three components. The core is created by drawing a very fine strand of highly pure glass from a pre-form into a very small "string". This fiber optic sheath is made of nylon, with an outer diameter of 0.25±0.3mm and a single-mode fiber with a 9um core. The fiber rate can reach 10Mbps.
